.January Cool Shops! CLARES PLACE.

Cool Shop! #2 for January is Clares Place...
Clare is a young stay-at-home mother of a beautiful two-year old, Chloe.  With a Bachelor of Education and qualifications in Interior Design under her belt, Clare needed something more to help her fulfill her creative outlet and six months ago started designing and writing patterns for gorgeous quilts under her label, "Clares Place."

Clare's patterns are bright and bubbly, beginner-friendly and quick to sew - what more can a busy sewer ask for?!  I received a very generous package in the mail from Clare last month containing each of her six lovely patterns.  I know the time and effort that goes into writing patterns, it is tedious work and long hours in front of the computer and Clare's patterns are beautifully written.  I particularly love how the instructions are set out clearly and are easy to read and the addition of step-by-step colour photographs is awesome.

Clares Place patterns can be purchased from retail and online stores around Australia.  A complete list of stockists can be found here.  Clare has also recently decided to sell her patterns in pdf download format for a great price at her online store also.

Take a closer look at some of Clare's patterns...

Jayne's Love is made using Amy Butler's recent range "Love" - so pretty!
I really love her Bubbles & Ruffles pattern...particularly the orange version

Wheels is a super cute quilt for little boys - check out the girl version too...
As part of her review, Clare is giving away a whole heap of patterns to 3 lucky winners.
FIRST PRIZE - Complete set of six pdf download Clares Place patterns
SECOND PRIZE - Four pdf download Clares Place patterns
THIRD PRIZE - Two pdf download Clares Place patterns
To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post.  Winner will be drawn randomly on Wednesday 12th January.
