.do you know what a feijoa is?.

Our garden delights us once again with some more delicious produce! We started out with raspberries, followed by apricots, peaches and now feijoas.

They grow on two big bushes outside our front door and are a most unusual fruit. You cut them in half and scoop out the flesh like a kiwi fruit, or you can cut off one end and suck the flesh out (Oscar's preferred way of eating them!). They are super sweet and have a slightly gritty texture. Oscar loves going outside to collect the ripe ones as they fall off the bushes.

Yummo!

P.S. I just gave some to Lil and she loved it...she ate 6!!!

Never heard of them, but they sound good. You are lucky to have so much fresh fruit.

They look like a fruit dad introduced me to last year-I really liked it (that's if it was infact a feijoa!). Go Lil munching down 6!
