The adventure continues...we were STILL burdened by yucky cold and rainy weather on Monday morning. We were planning on doing the walk into Wineglass Bay today, but the weather was just too yucky and no one was really feeling up to it (well, I wasn't anyway...in my mind I was trying to psyche myself up for a 3 hour hike into the bay, but my largely pregnant body was telling me otherwise! Plus, the thought of squatting to go to the toilet ever half an hour wasn't very entertaining either!). So after a yummy breakfast and packing up we drove into Freycinet National Park and decided to take a few of the shorter walks around there. They were lovely, beautiful scenery to look at and nice fresh air to wake us up!
This is the beach house that we stayed the night in...
One of the pretty walks we went on...
Whitney, Spenser and Ashleigh fitting in beautifully with the Tasmanian nature!
Playing in some caves at Freycinet...
We discovered a gorgeous jetty off Freycinet Lodge - it was so calm and serene, lots of fish and sea life to look at over the edge.
