.FLIRTY SKIRTS!.

New Pattern...New Pattern...New Pattern...

.FLIRTY SKIRTS.

I think this is my VERY favourite pattern so far...really, I mean that! I've been dreaming up ideas for Flirty Skirts for a long time now, but it has taken forever to eventuate. November was Quilt Market, December - Christmas, January - lots of visitors and F-I-N-A-L-L-Y in February I had time to play and sew and this is what I have come up with...
Flirty Skirts will be the most comfortable, relaxed skirts you will ever make or wear. Featuring cascading tiers and patchwork designs, Flirty Skirts will leave you feeling free and graceful.

Gentle gathers between each tier create a soft, feminine look – perfect for a day in the countryside, unwinding at the beach or some fun shopping.

Whether you choose to make a stunning long or short ladies skirt or a delightful little girl’s skirt with matching appliqué top, flirty skirts are guaranteed to make you happy!
This pattern is definitely value for money - you get instructions to make either a ladies long skirt, ladies short skirt or little girl's skirt with matching applique top! I'm loving the applique top - especially when paired with the flower detail on the skirt - too cute!
These skirts are all very simple to sew up - perfect for a busy Mum trying to fit in some sewing for fun when the house is clean and the kids are in bed (trust me, I should know! Although, maybe the house isn't always clean - it just sounds good!) Great for beginner sewers too, nothing too tricky or complicated about these skirts.
If you want to see loads more photos of Flirty Skirts, information about sizes and fabric requirements or to find out where you can purchase them then head over to the Make It Perfect website. The website has had a bit of a face lift over the last few days so make sure you check it out!
A big thankyou to Sally from Eden Lane Photography for taking the cover and promo photos for me too - and her lovely models: Eve, Charli and Jasmine - you guys are stunners!
And a new pattern release isn't complete without a giveaway, is it?! To win a free copy of the Flirty Skirts pattern, simply leave a comment at the end of this post - the giveaway will be opened until next Monday, 2nd March.

Tone! I noticed your skirt when we were up the other weekend but I forgot to ask whether it was one of your patterns or not! The fabric was just perfect I loved it so much and thought it would be real comfortable for pregnancy/growing tummies. I think it's my favourite pattern too!

Very cute. Great addition to your collection of fabulous patterns. I would love to win it! Hope your pregnancy is going well and you're not having too much heartburn (that's the phase I'm in and I think we're about the same amount of weeks along or at least close-I'm in the 28th week)

I have been such a fan of both your patterns and your blog for several months now. I have made your receipes, I have made two of your wrap skirts (and love them) but I have never left a comment to say a heartfelt thank you. It is well overdue on my part (and it's not just the chance of a giveaway that has prompted me, I promise). Finally, the thing I enjoy most about reading your blog is that as a stay at home mum you really enjoy your life. I am a stay at home mum of 4 children and feel exactly as you do - it is lovely to read your words. `

What a gorgeous skirt. I have a 5 month old at home and I'm dying to make this for her. I have not worn a skirt or dress since my wedding 4 years ago and before that who knows when! I'm thinking this skirt could be a winner with both me AND my 5 month old daughter. THANK YOU! Your creations are just brilliant!

I have just discovered your website - your patterns are just gorgeous! Hubby has bought me a sewing machine for my birthday (I am a total newbie to sewing!), and I have been looking for somewhere to start - found it! I have two little girls, and I never expected to find a pattern that I could use for all of us :-)

This is just gorgeous. Matching mum and daugher skirts (ok a bit over the top!) But it will be nice to have a pattern that I can make skirts for both of us. I can't wait to try this, of course I must complete the summer fling first, then there's the flipsy that's in waiting and then another versatile wrap (they really are THAT versatile!!!). I love your patterns, please keep them coming.
