.New pattern...PLAYTIME SKORT.

Welcome back!!!  The first pattern I'd like to introduce you to is PLAYTIME SKORT...
Playtime Skort puts the fun back into funky!  Active little girls can play as they please while wearing their Playtime Skort, providing modesty in the playground.
Made from super comfy stretch fabric and with dainty bubble skirt detail, it is simple to pull on in the morning and have fun playing all day.  Whether hanging upside down on the monkey bars or heading off to a birthday party, Playtime Skort will cover all bases.
This pattern provides options to make a pair of shorts, a cute bubble skirt, a comfortable single-layer skirt or a skort from one easy pattern as well as instructions to create a matching reverse-applique shirt for a complete outfit!
About a month ago, I was contacted by Angela from Sew Bright Alpine Quilting asking me if I would consider creating a pattern using some of the new stretch (knit) fabrics that are around.  After hearing feedback from a few of my customers, saying that they would love to see more stretch sewing patterns, of course I couldn't say no!

After a bit of discussion with a few friends, I decided upon this skort pattern for little girls.  I don't know about other Mum's out there, but I am totally sick of seeing Lil's undies every time she wears a dress or skirt - which is just about every day!  A skort is the perfect way to solve this problem, she can wriggle around and lift up her skirt as much as she likes without giving the whole world a view of her underwear!  She thinks it is the funniest thing and calls it her "magic skirt" :)

And just incase you don't want to make a bubble-skirt, there are options to make a skort with a VERY simple single-layer skirt.  Or you can forget about the skort altogether and the make skirts on their own or a pair of little shorts that look super cute with a longer t-shirt.
For a lovely selection of stretch fabrics, contact Angela at Sew Bright - they are great to work with!

A big thankyou to the brilliant Fiona Harding for these super cute photos of Lil - I just love them!!
Click here to see more Playtime Skort pictures and check out the fabric requirements.  If you have a store and want to stock this or any other Make It Perfect patterns, contact Creative Abundance to place an order.

If you would like to purchase a copy of Playtime Skort for yourself, they should be popping up in retail stores very soon. Ask your favourite store to get one in for you!

With all of my new pattern releases over the weekend, I'll be giving away a free copy to one lucky winner.  If you would like to win a copy of Playtime Skort, leave a comment on this post :)
(Giveaway will close Friday 26th November and winner will be drawn via a random number generator.)

Come back same time tomorrow to check out the next pattern!

Great idea, love it, and I have been really wanting to try a knit pattern, just got a new machine (hello, Bernina 440QE) and I think it is time to face my fears and give knit a go! Your pattern are so user friendly so I am sure it will be a breeze!
