.On my birthday...

...Oscar woke up in the morning with a "great idea".
"Mum, we should go to the IGA and choose some lollies and then you can make some cupcakes and leave them on the bench for Lil and I to decorate.  But you have to go away, because it will be a surprise."

And it was a great idea!  Their cupcake decorating skills were out of this world amazing!  (Photos taken on my iphone because Jaron stole my camera for work - the nerve!)

After cupcake decorating, we spent the afternoon at the pool and then a quick singing of Happy Birthday before Jaron and I went out for a yummy, child-free dinner.

Thankyou, family for making 29 not so bad...you are really going to have to pull out the big guns for the big 3-0 though!!

Happy Birthday! By the look of those cakes you could leave the kids alone with the Womens Weekly kids cake cookbook next year and they'll have it covered!

Happy belated birthday to you fellow Aquarian! The cupcakes (and the idea) are gorgeous - but the one with the Chuppa Chup jammed into it is my favourite!
30 is not that bad - though it seems like it was along time ago for some of us!

They're so cute! The cake looks so yummy. I'm pretty sure my kids will love this idea. We'll be celebrating the party in a ballroom with the whole family in Denver. Thanks for sharing this. It think even the seniors would love the cupcakes. Haha!
