It always takes me awhile to get back into the swing of things after being away. My time in Melbourne at the Craft and Quilt Fair over the weekend was great. I did miss the little ones back at home, but had a lovely time surrounded by fabric and other crafty goodness and I had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful women going crazy about sewing, knitting, crochet, stamping and more! I also got to meet two of my beautiful pattern testers in real life, which was a treat - hi Karen and Rachel!!
Thanks to everyone who came to listen to my presentations and to those of you who said hi and introduced yourself to me while I was working at Kelani :)
As fun as they were, I feel as though I can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that the Sydney and Melbourne Fairs are over and get back into a better routine at home and with my pattern writing.
The minute I returned home, I packed up a heap of my samples and sent them off to Louise at the Oz Material Girls. They are going to be helping decorate the Oz Material Girls stand at the Mad Quilters Gathering in Penrith this weekend. If you are in Sydney, I recommend heading out to Penrith for a look. Admission is cheap as chips and you're bound to find something crafty to keep you happy. The Oz Material Girls are on Stand 20 and will be selling my patterns so go along for a fun day out!

It was great to finally meet you Toni, even in the craziness of the stall, needed a quiet moment so we could chat more :-).
Welcome home! :)
Sounds like fun but anything interstate is purely impossibly for me with my husband living interstate (in the other direction of course) & i even decided against doing the Canberra one, too much, too many children, too much homework for one mummy to manage. Glad you had a great time & have a blast this weekend, love Posie
It was great to see you Toni!
It was lovely meeting you - I am glad you had a safe trip home.
