Weetbix slice is an all-time family favorite at our place, especially for lunch boxes.
I'm going to try this in the thermie :)
Thanks Toni! I think I might make this for our weekly outing to the park. Plenty of willing test subjects. ;)
Looks delicious! I love the thought of the combination between chocolate and weetabix. It sounds intriguing.
For us North Americans, what are Weetbix?
My Mum 60 years ago used to make this , No icing on it, but she made home made marshmallow, and put it on just as it was almost cooled . cut in squares , dust the icing sugar, the marshmallow. Yummo try eating just one piece. Must make some for the grandies.
Thanks for sharing the recipe! I don't use my thermomix enough these days, but I've made this slice twice this week! Once with sprinkles for the kids, and i'm making a batch with coconut sprinkled on the icing to take to work for morning tea tomorrow. It's easy and delicious!!
Just letting you know that I made this and I think that ou might have missed an ingredient in it. It is very very buttery and I didn't think that it looked right so I pulled out the old Women's weekly slice book and they also have SR Flower added
This recipe is missing 1 cup of flour.
Plain flour or s.r. Flour?
This recipe is great as is Do Not add flour! Just take it put of the oven when you can smell it and then let it set and cool. Shouldn't have listened to the comme ts as out after dinner treat last night was ruined. Im going back to following the original recipe.
