Apple Spice Cake
2 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sugar
125g butter
2 eggs
4 cups peeled, chopped apple
Brown sugar
Sift together flour, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon.
In another bowl, cream butter and sugar, then add eggs. Add to dry mixture.
Add apples and stir to combine.
Place mixture into a greased square cake tin. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake for 30 minutes in a moderate oven.
