.ABOUT A BOY - new pattern!.

Introducing the latest Make It Perfect pattern to join the growing collection (this is number 22...who would have thought?!!)

ABOUT A BOY
"About A Boy" is a hip cap and satchel bag set to keep active, energetic boys happy.

This is the cap your boy will always reach for first. With adjustable velcro tabs at the back, it won't fly off his head when a sudden gust of wind blows and will protect him from the heat of the sun.

The satisfying satchel bag is made especially with boys in mind. The patchwork detail on the flap gives it a bit of funk without going overboard.

This macho-style set is a must-have for every boy!

This version of About A Boy was made using 100% organic fabric, "Circa 50" by Monaluna for Birch Fabrics. I absolutely love the funky boy-friendly prints...the cars are my favourites by far!
Head over to the Make It Perfect website to see more photos and check out the fabric requirements for About A Boy.
If you have a store and want to stock this or any other Make It Perfect patterns, contact Creative Abundance to place an order.
If you would like to purchase a copy of About A Boy for yourself, they should be popping up in retail stores very soon. Ask your favourite store to get one in for you!

My wonderful friend, Fiona Harding is responsible for the outstanding photography for this pattern - thanks Fiona...you are the best!!

And how cool is our little model, Harri? I have never met a kid who likes having his photograph taken so much!

I love giveaways a lot...I love the feedback and I love reading all of your comments.

I am so excited to be giving away a copy of About A Boy PLUS a cap (size small) like the one seen on the cover of the pattern! Simply leave a comment on this post and let me know which Make It Perfect pattern is your favourite! For a bonus entry, post about this giveaway on your blog, then come back and leave another comment letting me know that you have blogged about it!

(Giveaway will close Wednesday 31st March and winner will be drawn via a random number generator.)

22! how do you have the time?!? Good work though, the satchel would make a great church bag. I have always loved the dinosaur quilt pattern.

he he... a couple of weekends ago I took photos of a bride and groom right by that white flaky church hanging off the fence just like Harri!... and there Harri is! Love it. Cute bag ... I just love the fabrics you choose!

Gosh, what a cute kid!!!!
I love the hat, and I think girls would like it in other girly colours
I would wear this hat. I also love the bags that you made for Carli and your Mum for Christmas. I was thinking about adopting you for the run-up for next Christmas.
You really have a talent Toni.
I think Miss Fiona has done an excellent job as well.
Love Auntie Lorraine.

P.S. the word verification is sucka, which is quite appropriate for me as I love entering competitions, but I never win, but one day who Knows?

I love it! Patterns for boys are great. My favourite pattern is the Lazy Day hat. I have almost our whole family kitted out in them! I would have loved a legionnaires variation on this cap tho - Kids have the wear that style of hat (or broad-brimmed) at school and kinda etc). Still love it tho and will be buying the pattern as soon as I can get it.

What a great pattern! I love your Little Explorer pattern and the #2 Pinny the best. I am about to make the Wrap and Downtown Boy so my favourite may change ;)

Whadya mean pick a favourite?? I love them all...but I'll be selfish & pick one that I'm making for myself "the shearwater kaftan". I had a very pretty beaded one that I wore constantly during my last two pregnancys, so it's been put to the back of the wardrobe for super daggy days. So I thought it's about time I had a newbie. Thanks so much for your great 'boy' patterns even though my little missy will try & wrestle it off her brother.

This is fantastic, both the bag and the cap, well done. Hmm, asking us to choose a fav- that's tricky, mine, would be this, or summer fling I think. Thanks for a giveaway.

I love this pattern! And my new love is your shearwater kaftan.

Although my sentimental favourite will always be your wrap skirt - the first piece of clothing I ever made - and now I have 3 of them!

Fantastic pattern. Fave pattern would have to be the Lazy Day hat pattern. Everyone in the family has one or two! And they have been well received gifts for friends too.

Hooray! More boy patterns! I think this might be my new favourite! As a Mum of 2 boys, it's often hard to find patterns and fabric for boys. Thanks Toni, the boys will be getting new library/swimming/something else bags - even if I don't win the pattern!

I have made a few of your patterns, i wear my versatile wrap often as i am preggers, it has been great, so should have made myself another........Wanting to make my eldest the uptown girl for this winter it is such a great pattern.

My favourite pattern is Bloom; it's so cute but quite simple. In fact it's my son's favourite too- he asked me to make him one of the tops yesterday... so I'm thinking I need this new pattern, so I can make something appropriate for him!

What a great pattern, I can never find a decent hat pattern for my little man, terrific to see you putting together more boys stuff, now if only fabric designers will follow suit... My favourite pattern has to be the Shearwater Kaftan though, currently coveting some gorgeous silk in the city that Im hoping will become my latest 'out to play' top!
