This cheeky little monkey is in need of new PJs - so that's what was sewn for KCWC on days 4 and 5. I wanted to get them all finished last night but my sewing machine wasn't cooperating. So I cut them all out and then got out my back-up machine today and sewed them up (and now I've got to take my good machine to be looked at tomorrow).
I used my Slumber Party Jammies pattern, but forgot to include the drawstring in the waistband - I think the lack of sleep is starting to get to me! I didn't realise until I'd completely finished them and it was too late to pull them apart again!
I didn't have the mojo to make the tops myself, so just bought some plain ones from Kmart and appliqued big stars (my favourite!) onto the sides.
This pair is for a special little friend's birthday present |
And that's another big tick for "to sew" list!
SUPPLIES:
Make It Perfect, Slumber Party Jammies pattern
Green animal print - can't remember what it is called
Bugs - blue flannel from my local fabric store

You've done so well Toni! My overlocker died on me and I had to drop it off to be serviced today. I love all the things you have made
I think it looks great how you have combined a store bought top with your handmade pants. I might consider doing that myself next time :)
I love that you have a backup sewing machine. Excellent pants those. I've made a few for my girls from your book. Perfect!
